Overview
Yala Weheragala (Blocks 5 and 6) offers a quieter alternative to busier main Yala sectors—fewer jeeps, forest tracks, and seasonal waterholes in a more remote wilderness setting.
Block 6 is especially rewarding for elephant and deer sightings; Block 5 is the sector to target for leopards. Guests often choose Weheragala for an unhurried safari rhythm without the main-park crowds.
Private morning and evening safaris run daily with luxury jeeps, water, snacks, and binoculars included.
